About Me

A Perth born scholar, sheikh Akram has been servicing the Australian for fourteen years, as the Imam of Kuraby Mosque then as imam of Slacks Creek mosque and IPDC, Queensland Branch manager for Human Appeal International, and Member of National and State Imam councils. This service came after ten years of studying at the renowned Darul Uloom Al Arabiyyah Al Islamiyyah, where he completed with degrees in Quran and Shariah; as well as receiving an ijaza with Sanad for the complete memorization of the Quran. Apart from his domestic duties, Sheikh Akram travels frequently nationally and internationally delivering lectures, participating in Global Islamic Conferences, and distributing aid for Human Appeal.

We are a Quran institute, catering for brothers and sisters. We cater for the following:

  • Learn how to read Quran from scratch.
  • Learn how to recite with proper Tajweed.
  • Learn all the rules of Tajweed.
  • Learn how to read with fluency.
  • Memorise Quran.

Learn Quran in a friendly environment with Sheikh Akram Buksh who is a qualified Quran specialist having years of experience in teaching Quran. We also have qualified female teachers.

We offer after school Madrasah for children Monday to Thursday 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM.
